SE300 - Technical Support Engineer
Overview:
Staff members of our technical support provide world-wide professional support for our regional customer teams as well as for customer operations personal. You will be the contact person for all upcoming difficulties of our Mobile Core Infrastructure Systems and you will resolve them with competence and preferably right by telephone.
Your tasks:
• Receive and handle incoming incident tickets and support requests
• Proactive monitoring and dejaming of systems in cooperation with other departments (Development, Engineering)
• Support of system assembly and installation
Your qualification:
You have working experience as supporter or technical consultant for IT and/or telecommunication solutions and you can provide practical knowledge in the following areas:
• TCP/IP based services and protocols
• Experience of work in UNIX-based environments and debugging on network level
• Basic knowledge of CISCO-IOS
Further know-how in the following areas is desirable:
• Mobile applications and systems (Radius/AAA server, Email Server protocols)
• Basic script programming (Shell, Perl)
In addition, you meet the following prerequisites:
• Very good command of English and willingness to travel
• Enjoyment in debugging and providing of creative technical solutions
• Ability to work in a team; initiative and quick comprehension
