Overview

Recently acquired by Nokia Siemens Networks there is now a need to build up the team of Technical Consultants based in our Bristol office. To support this activity, we are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated graduate trainee who is able to gain an in-depth understanding of the capabilities of our products and develop the necessary supporting skills.

Product specific training will be given initially along with the opportunity to get hands on experience using test systems. This theoretical training will then be consolidated by involvement in customer projects within the EMEA region being deployed alongside experienced consultants.

This is an opportunity to be directly involved in the delivery of systems that typically support millions of end users often at the heart of our customer's networks.

Tasks

As a Graduate Consultant in the Solutions Competency organisation you will be involved in the following activities:

• Involvement throughout the project lifecycle of system deployments involving our products, often on the customer site.
• Production of design and configuration documentation for new installations and upgrades to existing systems.
• Defining and executing acceptance tests.
• Diagnosis of issues, tracing and systematic analysis of message flows.
• Production of documentation supporting knowledge transfer to the wider organisation.
• Interfacing between customer technical teams and the engineering teams.
• Providing assistance to the Support Teams.

Skills/Qualifications

• Degree based qualification in a numerate subject.
• Good communicator.
• Able to demonstrate a reasoned approach to problem solving.
• Enthusiastic and self-motivated, keen to learn about new technologies and acquire new skills
• Flexibility to travel.
