CONS107 - Principal Consultant
Position located in: Apertio/Nokia Siemens Networks, Emersons Green, Bristol.
Frequent deployment to customers sites primarily in EMEA although NSN does have a global customer base.
Recruiting Requirement
Recently acquired by NSN, there are plans to rapidly expand our business, which has resulted in the need to recruit additional experienced Principal Consultants/ Service Designers.
Functional Experience
- Design, plan and implement services in communications networks
- Analyse and define customer requirements/new features.
- Develop technical architecture, service designs, data schemas and data designs, technical solutions, message flows.
- Write technical proposals, feasibility studies.
- Liaise between software implementation team and customer technical team; provide techical support for the project delivery.
- Define and develop test strategy, acceptance test concepts and procedures.
- Support fault analysis and resolution.
Technical Knowledge
- Directory Protocols (X.500, LDAP).
- Any Enterprise DBMS.
- GSM service delivery platforms: HLR, Intelligent Network (SCPs), SMSC, VMS
- Unix systems/scripting
- Data modelling
- Network protocols
Role Experience
- Providing lead technical role for delivering applications and solutions.
- Working with customers and software development teams to understand project requirements and provide solutions to meet customer needs
- Technical prime for project delivery.
- Experience in software design and development may be useful.
