At the heart of the Apertio proposition is the belief that to guarantee success, a Communication Service Provider’s (CSP) network, as well as its thinking, must be subscriber centric.
In today’s highly competitive market, CSPs are trying to offset the effects of market maturity and price erosion by reducing capital and operational expenditure, while at the same time deploying new services. They are struggling however, hampered by their 20 year old, high cost, complex infrastructures. These proprietary infrastructures have locked up subscriber data under countless switches and hardware applications, making it inaccessible. These legacy networks restrict access to critical customer data and create a significant barrier to the delivery of current and next generation services.
