Apertio One-BSF
The Apertio One-BSF (Bootstrapping Server Function) server delivers a Generic Bootstrapping Architecture environment, based on 3GPP AKA to provide maximum security. AKA is a powerful security mechanism widely used in mobile networks and the GBA uses AKA to bootstrap application security. A common shared secret between client and server secures all subsequent communication. Network Application Function (NAF) and User Equipment (UE) derive their respective keys from the security relationship provided by the BSF server. The One-BSF supports any NAF, both operator owned or 3rd party. Standard DIAMETER interfaces like Zh, Zn, HTTP Ub and SOAP ensure compatibility with a large number of surrounding systems, ensuring quick and easy integration with existing infrastructure.
