Apertio Named in '50 to Watch in Mobile' for 2nd year running

Ranked within the top ten, this is Apertio’s second year to be placed among the top 50, acknowledging its impressive company growth throughout 2006.

Apertio has created a software application suite - Apertio One - that enables current and new generation mobile operators to simplify their networks by consolidating subscriber data into a single repository at the heart of the network - increasing revenue through rapid service deployment and achieving significant cost reduction. Its unique technology is proven in reducing time to market for new services from 18 months to a matter of weeks, significantly reducing operating costs by over 50 per cent and placing the subscriber at the centre of the network.

"We are delighted to have been selected by the ‘50 to Watch in Mobile’ for the second consecutive year. 2006 has seen rapid growth, a host of industry awards and adoption of our technology by the world’s largest and fastest growing operators," said Andrew Wyatt, chief product operations officer at Apertio.

Compiled by Real Business magazine, the leading magazine for entrepreneurs and growing businesses, the ‘50 to Watch in Mobile’ were selected by a panel of expert judges in the technical, marketing and commercial aspects of the UK mobile industry. Apertio was named in the top 50 after scoring highly in five criteria; financial performance, innovation, management strength, market niche potential and the critical size of the company.
